As the 98th Academy Awards ceremony approaches, Cinéma Moderne is pleased to offer moviegoers the chance to catch up with the presentation of 13 Oscar nominated films before the ceremony on March 15. As always, the public will be able to watch their film while sipping a drink from the Cinéma Moderne café-bar !

Six films nominated for BEST PICTURE : Bugonia by Yorgos Lanthimos, Frankenstein by Guillermo del Toro, The Secret Agent by Kleber Mendonça Filho, Sinners by Ryan Coogler, Sentimental Value by Joachim Trier, as well as Train Dreams by Clint Bentley.
Two other films nominated for BEST INTERNATIONALE FEATURE FILM : It Was Just An Accident by iranian cinematographer Jafar Panahi and the Tunisian film The Voice of Hind Rajab by Kaouther Ben Hania.
Three films highlighted by remarkable performances by their actors, nominated in their respective categories : Ethan Hawk (BEST ACTOR) in Blue Moon, Rose Byrne (BEST ACTRESS) in If I Had Legs I’d Kick You and Amy Madigan (BEST SUPPORTING ACTRESS) in Weapons.
And finally, the film Cutting Through Rocks by Mohammadreza Eyni and Sara Khaki nominated for BEST DOCUMENTARY FEATURE FILM and Little Amélie or the Character of Rain by Maïlys Vallade nominated for BEST ANIMATED FEATURE FILM.
