Image promotionnelle - Rendez-vous Vidéopoesie

Since 2014, the Montreal Poetry Festival has given pride of place to video poetry, a hybrid genre at the border of art video, cinema and literature, which borrows the language of these different creative fields to compose encounters between image, sound and text, as well as between poets and directors, in the form of short films.

Born in 2016, the Videopoetry Rendez-vous (RVVP) competition in partnership with Vidéographe is open to Quebec and Canadian poets and video makers from all backgrounds through a call for video poems in French or with French subtitles.
