For our 6th QCCMTL event, we’re watching none other than Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy’s Revenge (1985)! In this horror classic, Jesse Walsh moves into the infamous Elm Street house and soon finds himself haunted by Freddy Krueger, who wants to use him to continue his reign of terror. Though initially released to mixed reviews, the film has gained a cult following for its queer-coded themes and camp appeal. It’s known for its subtext exploring Jesse’s struggle with his identity, featuring homoerotic undertones that resonate with the LGBTQ+ community.
