“Life flows through films.” In this deeply personal documentary, André-Line Beauparlant picks up the camera to gain a deeper understanding of the life and work of her partner, filmmaker Robert Morin.
As the imagery—composed of film clips, behind-the-scenes footage, conversations, and personal archives—reveals the inner workings and behind-the-scenes aspects of their collaboration in film and in life, the narration weaves a dual biography that reflects on love, obsession, the passage of time, and death. Guided by a deep desire to connect with the other, *Mon amour c’est pour le restant de mes jours* is a love letter, a daily journal, and a resolutely feminist proposition: that of creating in the plural.
