In the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, Victor, a successful underground drag queen, and Tarzan, a homeless teen, take refuge in a half-built tower block in downtown Tbilissi. An homage to the resilience of the Georgian capital’s queer community, this meditative ramble portrays with stunning insight the despair of two young people condemned to boredom and uncertainty when the electrifying club scene that had taken up their nights is shuttered due to lockdown. Contemplative and meticulous, the debut film from multidisciplinary artist Felix Kalmenson unfolds like the harrowing purgatory of a pair of outcasts at a crossroads.
