Harvey is a young, straight, lonely, overweight man working in a chemistry lab. Shy and reserved, he watches people from a distance, longing for human contact. While browsing magazines in an adult video store, he stumbles upon Cherub, a gay review for ‘big men and their admirers’… With subtle touches, this debut feature film immerses us in a strangely muted world, radical in its absence of dialogue, yet gently hypnotic and fully embodied by its (anti)hero, portrayed with modesty by Benjamin Turnbull.
