In collaboration with Cinéma Moderne, Vidéographe presents Pea Soup by Pierre Falardeau et Julien Poulin.
Pea Soup is an ethnographic video on the Québécois tribe. The film is a collage, a puzzle, even, where interlocking images and sounds draw the portrait of a nation. Photographic images, text, and scenes shot in various locations such as factories, create a fragmented and virulent critique of Québec’s social and cultural differences.
The screening concludes with a convivial gathering where the public can enjoy a drink offered by Vidéographe.
