Manon is seventeen and excels in hockey, a sport that allows her to channel the brewing aggression within her. One day, she runs away from her Swiss mountains to search for her long-lost father. Upon arriving in France, she makes new acquaintances and rebuilds her life, all while pursuing her goal of becoming a professional hockey player. Presented at the Locarno Film Festival, Rivière tactfully follows the journey of a young woman with a troubled past, caught between loneliness and the desire to triumph.
