Jean, a hypersensitive young man, and Jeanne have one last rendezvous at the “Pan Coupé”, the little café where they always meet. A few weeks later Jean’s dead body is found in the suburbs of Lyon. Jeanne, not knowing about his death, confides in her friend Pierre and his father. They begin an investigation into the young man’s disappearance. Disillusionment, poetry and dark romanticism combine to create a compelling film in urgent need of rediscovery.
