On a bus, we follow members – spanning three generations – of a gevarist group named Juventud Libre (Youth Freedom). Composed of people of varied backgrounds, the groups go along the “route of the Che”  on foot, crossing Bolivians mountains to understand the sacrifice made by the Che and his followers in their times.

Today, 20 years after that first experience, the troop is about to go back to their roots, and to follow again the last living months of the Che as written in his journal. Together they search what they call  ” the essence of the Che “. In parallel, we follow a group of young Bolivians anarchist muralist, who use their art to pay homage for the Commandante Guevera.

(…) des mots qui portent. Et qui résonnent. Où l’on comprend pourquoi le mythe du Che perdure, plus d’un demi-siècle après sa mort. – La presse
